Is there a way to get Maya to read a license from something other than the defult C:/ ?

My primary hard drive is named H:/ now (the name is locked) and every time I try to install the license and tell it where to read it from it won't read it. I'm pretty sure it's because it's called H:/ now.

I think it's actually kind of hard to do. Can you partition another part of the drive, name it C: and then let it reference the license info from there?

And how did you manage to rename your drive to H:?

My original hard drive died so I got a new one.
I don't know how it happened but when my friend installed the new Hard Drive it just named it H:. I can talk to him and see if he can partition it.

Try your Start Menu>Autodesk>Common Utilities>FlexLM License Utilities

Click on the Config Services tab. There you can list the path to license file.
