Spider Lobster plus turntable shader madness. Made this yesterday in zbrush. I used zspheres 2. Built the armature with zspheres and used sketchspheres to build the shape. They work pretty well. But you have to be careful with how you use the sketch spheres. Packing it on like clay can sometimes lead to odd topology that zbrush still has a hard time smoothing out. In fact to smooth out the dimples you need to use the polish or flatten brushes. Smooth brush only makes dimples worse for some reason. It's not really a big problem, it's just a minor annoyance when building a concept. It took a little less than an hour to build the armature and pack on sketchspheres. Probably less than two hours sculpting.

Small warning... If your first or last name starts with a w, you may want to wear some eye protection to shield your eyes from the sheer awesomeness of the zbrush chrome shader. :p

Lobsters have antennas and more Crustacean divisions through the body. The spider lobster is cute. :)

True. True. Sometimes making a perfect mix that shares all characteristics can lead to something that looks abominable. This might be 75% spider and 25% lobster. Legs and parts of the body have lobster elements. But the overall shape is more akin to a spider.
