Significance:Shady Belle is an abandoned rundown colonial manor in the state of Leymone in Red Dead Redemption 2. The Dutch Vanderline gang takes temporary settlement of the manor while on the run from law enforcement, it is the first time the gang finds a comfortable hideout with rooms for the gang's women and children who make part of the caravan. This location however is later raided by the opposing gang in the Battle of Shady Belle.

significance: The palace of Versailles is a visual representation of the growing wealth gap between the commoners and the Royal family. One the Reign of Terror came upon France, Versailles was a popular place to loot. In the game Assassins Creed Unity, it served as the place where many high class people were assassinated such as Charles Dorian and Francois de la Serre.

Significance: Modeled after the Beverly Hills Civic Center by Charles Moore,There no significance to the storyline of GTA. But the developers of GTA were trying to model a fictional version of Los Angeles and including a unique landmark such as this helps.

Gusteau's Restaurant

Movie: Ratatouille
Significance: Pixar wanted to ground the viewers in Paris, Put them in a atmosphere where the Viewer without question knew that what they are seeing is Paris. Significance of the Restaurant is that its a deceased chef old restaurant that used to be 5-Star, isn't in their hay day trying to get back to the 5-Star restaurant it once was.

Movie: Monsters University
Significance: This is the Greek House of the Oozma Kappa who are a collection of wholesome, good-natured misfits, the adorable brothers. Pixar with each of thier Frat Houses was trying to reflect the attitude of the fraternity members who are living there. So it would makes sense choosing American Craftsmanship Style they are such a warming and inviting people.

Significance: This is the Greek House of Roar Omega Roar(ROR) Fraternity who is made up of the best of the best. They’re the smartest, most skilled, scariest monsters at Monsters University, and come from families with a long, proud history of scaring. With their house Pixar was trying to convey ROR has History which makes since with a Tudor style house, being the oldest looking out of the other houses.

Show: The Man in the High Castle

Significance: The Great Hall was Hitler's plan for the capital building of the world. The Man in the High Castle takes place in an alternate universe where Nazi Germany won the war by using atomic weapons before anyone else. Ultimately winning the war by making America surrender by nuking Washington and having a land invasion on the east coast, and the Japanese invasion on the west coast. In the show, Hitler's capital building has taken shape and form and is used as a subtle backdrop message showing us how Germany would've looked like had that reality come true and seen German dominance and prosperity after winning the war.

Film: Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones

Significance: The Plaza de España was selected to be the basis for Theed Palace. Theed being the home and seat of power for the monarch of the planet Naboo. The Plaza was selected as the rich decoration of Spanish Baroque is evocative of royalty and elegance to the highest decree. Perfectly befitting for the monarch of an entire planet, especially one that prides itself on art.

Game: For Honor

Significance: In the world of For Honor the world is still in recovery from a cataclysm that happened a millennium ago. Knights fight for land and vikings fight for food, but the samurai are different. Unlike the other factions that dwell in the crumbling remains of kingdoms past, all the architecture of the samurai was built after the cataclysm, they are the only group to truly rebuild. But they remain disjointed due to the feuding daimyo. Similar to how the bleak marsh of the empire conceals these palaces of splendor, the interior of those guided walls is a game of treachery, backstabbing, and civil war hidden from the world's gaze.

Significane: with stonehenge being a strange yet well designed site if a scientist of all people were to act strangely and preach the end was coming. it would be clear in a world of gods and superheros that something isn't right. its also used to connect as a connection point between earth and the nine realms as in that universe the gods may have had an impact.

Significance: this is really only used as a fun background element in the game. because the course is in a desert, it would be good to add some background elements so that it is not just a sea of sand.

Film: Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

Significance: For the planet of Naboo, George Lucas wanted to create a culture where the people held art in high regard. He chose the Royal Palace of Caserta as it is in baroque style, the style being highly ornate. The place housing the former royal family is even more befitting as in the film it is the palace of Naboo's monarch. The extremely extravagant baroque style effectively connotes the grandeur of Theed Place and appreciation the people of Naboo have for art.

Style: Victorian and/mixed with Asian Architecture

Significance:The city is a high-tech hybrid of artistic and technological architecture and a fusion of both San Francisco, California and Tokyo, Japan. The modern-day San Fransokyo is a center for vast cultures besides the dominant Eastern and Western themes, being something of a melting pot which is evident in the weird mixing of Architectural Styles.

Movie: Big Hero 6
Krei Tech is responsible for a large portion of the city's power, technological advancements, and livelihood. So it makes since to have a very futuristic architecture style for their headquarters because the company is a significant element of San Fransokyo's revolutionary technological lifestyle. This building architectural style contrasts the vast majority of the city as it is most advanced looking building symbolizing that they are the future of the city.

Buckingham Palace

Year Finished: 1703 AD

Game: The Great Mouse Detective

Significance: This famous location is where the seat where the Queen of England resides for the Jubilee, at least the Mouse Queen at least. It is here where Ratigan plans on replacing the Queen with a Robot Duplicate created by the toy maker in order to take the throne for himself. It makes sense, seize control of the Throne and all of London is yours. Fortunatly Basil of Baker Street stopped him before he gets away with it.
