Assignment due Noon April 23
Upload AND BRING TO CLASS a photo of you or a friend making a pose, from top of the head to the bottom of the feet, with no limbs being cropped off. The pose is to match with the character you'ce chosen for your final assignment. Think both adjective of the drawing (scary, menacing) but also what you want the viewer of the drawing to feel and take away (fall in love/find funny/find charming/hate and want them to die because they're such an amazing villain/hate and want them to die because you want to see them gone because they're annoying.)
In this instance I'm picking Venom. I want my drawing of Venom to show him as menacing and threatening, but I also want the viewer to think he's cool and badass. I took a video of myself walking to the camera and took a couple screenshots. Both not only show what I'm trying to present, but they both show a twist and a bend in the torso, however slight, which we can build on. Using these and our visual design of Venom, we can start drawing our figure. I will demo this in class on Wednesday (no class on Monday) by making sure that we can get a good Patrick, the foundation on which we will begin our drawing.
