Hi guys,
I want to reiterate how much I appreciate you guys coming to class and participating and doing your best. Those of you who have let me know and stayed home to take care of yourselves, I appreciate that too. It's a long semester still ahead of us, and you're doing great so far.
Assignment due IN CLASS Monday 2/3
Draw the figure of Kobe Bryant in this interesting photo of an exciting dunk

Focus on the attributes of this photo that make it an interesting photo of an exciting dunk, and make sure they are incorporated in your drawing. I know we covered them in class but I want you to observe those characteristics again here.
What I'm looking for is an EXACT as possible recreation of this pose. You could just trace the photo but that would render the entire exercise pointless. This class is as much a class in observation as it is in drawing, in fact the drawing is only to reflect for me what you observe.
BRING THE DRAWING AND THE REFERENCE to class on Monday as we will likely be drawing it again in class
If you were not in class on Wednesday I will bring a physical copy of the reference for you
Try to draw the figure as accurately as possible, using lines like you have been in all your class exercises thus far. However, do not shade.
DO NOT SHADE.
