- Video analysis of walk reference
- Lower body animation pass orthographic front AND size view
Video analysis instructions:
- Upload video with "syncsketch" label to Syncsketch
- Label ALL key poses of a walk as a comment
- Side view:
- Label when the root travels down AND up
- Front view:
- Label when the root (weight) shifts
Lower body animation pass details:
- Utilizing the animation reference, have the character start in neutral, take 5 steps forward, and come to a settle (end in neutral pose)
- The root control and legs should be fully animated.
- The spine, head, and arms can be static.
- There should be no foot sliding.
- All the main poses of a walk (contact, down, passing, up) should be distinguishable in the lower body.
