Using the rig you want to animate the Volleyball serve with, re-create & push this pose in a new Maya file-
Follow these instructions to analyze the ref with your teammates -
- Indicate where the FK/IK switches will occur in the legs
- Label poses that have apparent C-curves (dynamic posing)
- Notate moments where the character has apparent hangtime & weight
- Label frames where pushed overlap/drag in the arms need to happen (hint: look for motion blurred moments in the arms)
