As part of our Professional Development week, your first deliverable will be to submit a comprehensive application package. This package is crucial for your career as 3D artists and will include the following components:
- LinkedIn Profile: Create a professional LinkedIn profile that highlights your skills, experiences, and projects. Make sure to include a professional photo, a compelling summary, and detailed descriptions. Additionally, you need to connect with or follow at least 50 people and start following studios relevant to our industry.
- ArtStation Profile: Set up an ArtStation profile to showcase your portfolio. This platform is widely used in the industry and having a well-organized and visually appealing portfolio will help you stand out.
- Resume: Write a resume that clearly outlines your education, skills, work experience, and any relevant projects. Make sure it is well-formatted and free of any errors. You should also find three job applications for entry-level positions you are interested in. Use the requirements of these roles to list relevant coursework in your resume.
- Cover Letter: Draft a modular cover letter tailored to one of the open job requirements you found. Keep in mind that we will make it modular to apply to other studios in the future.
- Submit a link to your ArtStation and LinkedIn.
- Post a link to your Resume and Cover Letter
- Make sure your Portfolio and final Resume are posted on your LinkedIn
