Card Games
(no idea who invented cards)
I know a good few card games, and I introduced them to a good friend of mine. The games being: Go Fish, Slap Jack, Solitaire, and 21 (There's another name for it, but I forgot). Though I personally enjoy all of these, my friend really enjoyed two in particular. Go Fish is very simple, each player starts with seven cards and the goal is to make pairs, for example a pair with two red eight's, despite the symbol. Depending how many players, you ask anyone if they have a card you want. If they do they give it you and you get yourself a pair, otherwise they say "go fish" and you draw a card. The game then ends once all the cards have been used up. Slap Jack is also simple. I always forget how many cards players are meant to start with, so i usually just split the cards evenly among people. Then without looking at the cards we place them one by one. Whenever a J pops up, you have to smack your hand on the cards to win. I like to play a version where the game ends after for the four J's have been used, but I also do an endless run where people used the cards they won.
Not every deck of cards are the same, these cards had joker cards with horses on them, giving them a little country vibe to it. I like it, Nothing out of this word, but I thought the designs were interesting.
What made the games fun is and will always be playing with other people (specifically friends), and it was fun teaching them those few games too, it was better when they honestly enjoyed it. Because when a friend enjoys the same game, it can be played multiple times.
Since the moment I've been playing with cards, I always thought it was influential. A normal deck of cards have been a thing for a very long time; like probably around since the 10th century. There are many ways to play with a simple deck of cars, what's crazy is that these games can last you hours when you let it. What's crazier, people find a way to make more card games that don't revolve a normal deck. For example UNO, you got numbers similarly like the playing cards but it's different with it's own set of rules that, if people agreed, can be added to make UNO more interesting. While I'm not sure if the people behind UNO were influenced by playing cards, but I can't really think of any sort of card game that isn't done by playing cards. To me, it's a way how I see card games evolve.
I rate the playing card games 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. It's fun to play with people. There's always a chance to make up your own game too. You get bored of one game, you can play another; perhaps learn another one. And, if what they say is true, playing card games with people is healthy
