I wanted to recreate a diorama of one of the title cards from Adventure Time. I wanted to interpret it more as claymation style that I think would enhance to tone and texture.

So *stop motion* in style (as in Ray Harryhausen or Willis O'Brien" would be great. Those sets are rich in texture (tactile textures), color, and distinct visual language. 'Claymation' as in made of plasticine is probably not quite the right look for the complexity we're looking for. Agreed?

Exactly; the show explores that feel a little in an episode, "Bad Jubies", and I wanted to emulate that and push the texture realism more.

OK. Approved. A lot of that stop-motion look will come from careful lighting, so be sure to build time in for that.
