WHAT’S ELIGIBLE?
Any original graphic design project created between
Jan. 1, 2003 and Sept. 1, 2004.
WHO’S ELIGIBLE?
Graphic designers, illustrators, photographers, etc.,
from anywhere in the world.
WHO’S JUDGING?
Competition winners will be selected by these
internationally recognized jurors:
Peg Faimon is a professor of graphic design at
Miami University in Oxford, OH, and maintains a
design consultancy.
Steff Geissbuhler is a partner and principal at
New York City’s Chermayeff & Geismar.
Deanna Kuhlmann-Leavitt is president and design
director of Kuhlmann Leavitt, Inc. in St. Louis.
CATEGORIES
Annual Reports
Brochures/Catalogs/Flyers
Covers/Jackets (magazines, books, etc.)
Editorial (magazine and book spreads or total format)
Environmental Graphics
Illustration/Photography
Invitations/Announcements/Greeting Cards
Letterhead/Business Cards
Logos
Miscellaneous
Packaging (consumer goods, CDs, etc.)
Posters
Print Advertising
Student Work
3D Objects (gifts, wearables, calendars, 3D promos)
Designs may be entered in more than one category; submit
a separate sample, entry form and fee for each category.
Judges reserve the right to recategorize entries; to create
new categories, if appropriate; and to withhold place awards
if they see fit.
THE DEADLINE
All entries must be postmarked by
September 15, 2004.
ENTRY FEES
Single Piece: $30
Campaign: $50 (A campaign is three or more pieces in a
single project. Stationery systems are considered single
entries.)
STUDENTS
Single Piece: $20
Campaign: $30
