Great Opportunity!!
Here's a great opportunity to do some pre-graduate networking and job hunting. People are needed to help with the ADDYs show. You'll be able to meet some of the top starts of the SA community in advertising and design.
The AAF-San Antonio will be holding its Annaul ADDY's Awards Show on February, 20th. We are currently seeking student volunteers to work at the following areas - number of people needed in parentheses:
• registration table (4-5)
• coat check (1-2)
• food bank drop-off (4-6)
• silent auction area (4)
Silent auction area is where we will need volunteers for almost the entire evening, since the auction room is separate from the ballroom. We will try to allow students to work this room in shifts so that they aren't stuck in there all night and will be able to see the show.
Student volunteers are allowed to watch the show for free. We're looking at a tight squeeze in the ballroom. So it may be standing room only for the volunteers, or a few chairs in the back. We will not be able to offer them dinner for the evening. However last year, many tables with no shows did offer their purchased plates and seats to the student volunteers.
