Due before class (6:00pm): (11/19/24)
A "Work in Progress" (WIP) assignment in digital sculpting refers to an intermediate stage of a sculpting project where you present your ongoing work before reaching the final completed piece.
In a WIP assignment, you are required to share your progress, demonstrate your sculpting skills, and receive feedback from your instructors or peers to refine your work further.
This WIP serves as a foundational step in the character creation process designed to assess your ability to accurately translate 2D concept art into 3D form through what we refer to as the Block-in process.
For this WIP: I should see clear forms, shapes and proportions and my feedback incorporated for your characters body. This is a Refinement pass, all elements of the body should be present hands and feet included pay attention to detail. Also, I should see base geometry for all of your characters gear (clothes, armor, accessories) Hair should be present as well, even if in primitive form.
**I want two (2) sets of renders, one set of just the character body without clothes, armor, accessories and one set with.
Include your name in the post!
