Due before class (6:00pm): (03/24/25)
A "Work in Progress" (WIP) assignment in digital sculpting refers to an intermediate stage of a sculpting project where you present your ongoing work before reaching the final completed piece.
In a WIP assignment, you are required to share your progress, demonstrate your sculpting skills, and receive feedback from your instructors or peers to refine your work further.
This WIP I should see your chosen Nerf Gun clearly in form, shape, and with clean edge work and smooth surfaces, ALL PARTS/SHAPES CREATED AND VISIBLE. Visually, there should be no low topology as you continue the refinement of your Nerf gun. I would expect you are using the Hard Surface techniques covered in class and notes posted, utilizing ZModeler, Crease, and Dynamic Subdivisions with thickness active where needed. Remember that Crease may be too strong at times and that you can and should use supporting Edge Loops as well, or in place of Crease on edges when needed.
