Animate the 3D pendulum using two different methods:

• Pose to Pose
• Straight ahead (Layered)

Playblast both methods and put them in the same Syncsketch (Label which one is Pose to Pose and which one is Straight Ahead)

I preferred the pose-to-pose method because it allowed me to plan the direction of the animation more efficiently compared to the straight-ahead method.

i liked the pose to pose because it was more fun and I could see the vison more when I move each point. Helps me see the full movement in the animation

I prefer the pose-to-pose method because it makes the process easier to get the key poses and timing down however, I do like how fluid the animation comes out from straight ahead.

I have no preference between Straight Ahead and Pose to Pose animations. It would depend on what I would be animating; something needing more fluid movement would have me doing Straight Ahead, while more rigid or heavy movements would have me doing Pose to Pose

I prefer pose to pose because its more mathematical and technical as opposed to how loose straight ahead is.

I prefer pose to pose, because it's a lot easier to tweak the whole part then individual pieces like straight ahead.

I think I prefer pose to pose method because it helps the animating feel more organized and gives you a solid Idea of what the animation will roughly look like early on. Straight ahead feels less organized and more intuition based, and I don't know if I like that.

its pretty difficult for me to pick just one, as it strongly depends on what exactly im animating. if im animating something like hair, tails, and in this case, a pendulum, then i prefer to use straight ahead. when it comes to animating other things, i find it easier to first set it up and animating it in the pose to pose method.

It was easy to use Pose to Pose, but my animation was a bit stiff-ish. When I used Straight Ahead, my animation was a lot smoother, but it took a bit longer to finish. I can't decide which method I like better.
