    Lighting Prop Modeling with lighting and block out

    Task 1:Lighting Prop Modeling

    Objective:
    You are tasked with modeling, UV mapping, and texturing a light object.


    Requirements:
    1. Modeling and Texturing:

    Create a detailed 3D model of a light object.
    Ensure proper UV mapping and texturing for pillar and lighting props.






    2. Reference Alignment:
    Capture and post images of your pillar and light prop.
    Include screenshots of your reference images taken from the same angle for comparison.
    Provide renders from both Unreal Engine and Unity to showcase the models in different engines.


    3. Submission:
    Post your renders and screenshots to the forums with your first and last name at the top of your submission.

    Task 2: Scene Blockout and Staging

    Objective:
    Using basic objects, create a blockout of your scene, establish prop and light placement, and compose camera shots to convey your theme and story.


    Requirements:

    1. Theme and Aesthetic:
    Clearly state the theme and aesthetic you are aiming for in your scene.
    Ensure all block out elements and staging align with this theme.






    2. Scene Blockout:

    Use basic objects in Unreal to block out the placement of pipes, wires, and additional detail objects in your scene.
    Determine light placement by adding light sources to the appropriate areas.

    3. Camera Placement and Composition:

    Place three cameras in the scene to capture important angles and story elements.
    Compose the shots thoughtfully, ensuring they align with your intended theme and aesthetic.
    Take screenshots from each camera and post them to the forums.

    4. Submission:
    Post screenshots of your blockout, camera compositions, and theme description to the forums with your first and last name at the top of your submission.


    5. Feedback:


    Provide constructive feedback on your classmates’ posts.
    Review the following:


    Do the blockout elements and staging support the stated theme and aesthetic?
    Are the camera compositions visually pleasing and effective in storytelling?
    What changes could improve the blockout or camera work?

    Thoughtfulness in composition and feedback provided to classmates.
    Timeliness of submission to ensure peer feedback exchange.

    Failure to complete any part of the assignment, including providing feedback, will result in an incomplete grade​

      The colors you chose for the scene makes it appear calm which is neat, I noticed there is less detail for Unity

      It looks very spooky if ami was in there iw would have cried, small note need more light to show some parts, but the light prop looks good.

      Does look as the ship is in an emergency, but the box props could be a little bit more disorganized to seem as if there was a struggle.

    Theme The amis slayed too hard, and now are obsessed with moons, and hate color, expect led colorful lights also love rusty metal with yellow on it.

      I would say that the theme is conveyed pretty well, and shows that they like to party. I would say just maybe lower the lighting intensity just a tad bit.

        The theme and story is conveyed pretty well, and shows the horror vibe to it, I would just say make the lighting a bit darker to give it more of the horror vibe.

        The light is a little bit too bright and the camera seems a bit unfocused. The Perspective looks good.
