Assignment due MONDAY 8/29 Noon
TWO things to be delivered, uploaded right here.
1) A photo of yourself or a friend, where an ADJECTIVE needs to be visually described (ie. acted out.) We should be able to correctly GUESS the adjective from your photo. Challenege yourself as much as you want with the adjective. This is to show me that you can visually show me a depiction of something that hopefully evokes emotion or ideally makes me FEEL something, as per my definition of art. Don't be afraid to go over-the-top, I'd rather you go too on-the-nose to get to the correct adjective, than too subtle and have people not get it.
2) Draw your photo. At this stage I do not care how or in what style, as long as the adjective is sufficiently conveyed to your best judgement. Your drawing must be done with a pencil on paper, and I need a photo or scan of the drawing to be uploaded alongside your photo. Make sure the photo is lit well and the image is properly aligned and legible so I can see your drawing clearly, this is to be considered the bare minimum in your drawing assigment deliverables. At this point, I just want to see how comfortably you move your pencil.
