  • 9/7/21 - Weekly check in.

    Please take a screenshot of
    • Your individual scheduled tasks that were due this week (9/7)
    • The current state of that task (if it's sculpted, then take a zbrush screenshot, if its getting textured then take a screenshot of the texture applied, etc)
    • *REVISED!* Weekly Team animatic and Team Build are due SECOND week. We are skipping this turn in for this week. But if you have something to show in this regard, we'd love to see it!
Any questions Email Arevalo or Mishler!

Task: To complete the Curie Rig. I did the original rig, sent it to Haylee to fix some feet issues, and it is now with Angelica to fix the skin weighting, where she will further refine foot pivots, hands & feet driver attributes/preset poses.

My individual goal for the week was to have the 2 levels white boxed and in engine, for the team schedule my goal was level for testing purposes to be able to adjust what was needed, then implemented over the next two weeks.

So, my work included getting base models out for the characters and enemies to the animators for rigging which. I covered two weeks worth of work due. Also, to get base models out for the buildings and large props to cover 2 weeks worth of work. These base models included the Javelina, Bat, Boss Snake and Human (which would start the PC and Humanoid enemies sets as the humans would all use that same rig.

I worked in Photo Shop to clean up the level maps, which I used in Houdini to populate a cleaner starting point and town geo. That Geo was exported and then implemented in engine. With the guidance of Professor Gallardo, I was able to start the project and see how the level fit, and set a camera. (I will be implementing basic player controls just as soon as time allows me too.

                      The base Models below.
