Maya file & video references: HeavyLift_Files.zip
Main poses: BodyMechanic_Lift_1.zip
-Animate the character lifting the box!
-Make sure to incorporate C reversals to sell the energy output/struggle
-The character should start off in a neutral/standing pose
-Up until the point the character bends down and grabs the box, the arms should stay in FK
-When the character is ready to actually lift the box, switch the arms to IK (make sure to set keyframes on the "diamond" controls)
-Make sure that the IK hand control's "follow chest" channel attribute is set to 0
-Hide the "Fk/Ik switch" has much as possible (the full body general body mechanics are higher priority)
-The Fk/Ik switch should happen in just 1-2 frames
-Think about how to vary the timing of this animation
-The main "pull/lift" pose will need to be a moving hold
-To move the box with the character, use the green locator (you will need to set keyframes on this locator)
-You can translate and rotate the locator!
-Post a general 3/4 and side view syncsketch
