WalkCycle_Handout (1) (1).zip
Pay close attention to:
- the characters weight ( ups and down - spacing (think basketball ) )
- weight shifting
- anticipations and holds!!! ( aka ease ins )
- arcs
- overlap and overshoots
- proper body mechanics ( look at the handout, grab video reference for the walk or kick ) )
- add squash and stretch at the very end as a final touch
- asymmetrical in the leg poses, especially on the jump
- overlap in the legs all the down to the foot
- proper lead and follow ( example: the root should be the driving force in the kick , not the leg)
- Root should not come to a complete stop, always have some kind subtle motion
- add overlap to the head
