Post 3 syncsketch links (Turn off nurb curves from showing)
1) Full Animation
2) Animation only showing the Ball Y translate animation
3) Animation only showing the ball translate Z & Rotate X animation
- don't worry too much about squash and stretch; I will be mostly looking at the translate Y and Z and rotation of the basketball.
- correct basketball weight timing in the bounces
- natural decrease in height on the bounces ( use your reference)
- natural decrease in timing of each bounce ( use your reference )
- correct slow down in motion / spacing at the apex of the bounces
- speed up/ increase in spacing on the floor contacts
- correct wall hit and change of direction!
- no weird animation glitches ( remember to hit autotangent if you're seeing weird pops that "you' did not put in your animation)
- ball must impact the floor hard
- ball stays on screen
- keep the ball mass properties similar to a basketball
- Add rotation as a final pass!!
- Remember to clean your curves if you're seeing weird things happening.
