        Lincoln Memorial

        Style: Greek Revival

        Date Completed: 1922

        Game: Fallout 3

Significance: The Nuclear Bombs that dropped in 2076 in the Fallout-verse did not do this location any favors. Especially in a mission where you team up with the Temple of the Union Members to go and take down the Wasteland slavers who, disgustingly ironically, decided to make the Lincoln Memorial their home. Afterward, the Temple of the Union has made it their home, properly.

            The Colosseum (Flavian Amphitheatre)

            Style: Roman

            Date Completed: 80 AD

            Game: Assassins Creed Brotherhood

Significance: The Roman Colosseum has played a large role in the game, as this location has been used the most out of all the games, the first is to get a key to access the Armor of Romulus, then later when Ezio has to save an actor who was targeted by Cesere Borgia, who also happens to have a key that could access the Vatican. The next time, when Cesere was meeting with his cohorts before Ezio broke it up to make Cesere's hold on Rome weaker. Then finally, when the Modern Day team saw Ezio at the Colosseum to hide the Apple of Eden they went there to retrieve it.

                  The Tower from Tangled

It's hard to say because it's disney but i think this is from the Romanticism era (Gothic Revival) although i see exposed timber so it looks Tudor.

This place represents comfort at first for Rapunzel at first because she does not yet know the dangers of the outside and grew up there. As the story progresses she finds out it was actually a prison and not a fun place at all.

                    Hyrule's Town Square

Time period looks Tudor with the wattle and daub and exposed timber buildings.

This is a hub for the Hyrule as you need to go to this area to progress the story and as well as get side quest. For me as a player i enjoyed this area due to the music and the secret quest.

Here is a taste of the music

                      Romanesque period

This is the school of the wolf in witcher 3 and is where the main character is from it is his home although it looks beaten up and crumbling down it still can hold its own. It brings comfort to Geralt as well as all the other characters that are from the school of the wolf.

                            Movie: Beauty and the Beast

Significance: In a direct quote from Sarah Greenwood the production designer for Beauty and the Beast (2017) she states "With rococo, everything is very exuberant, but also very organic, and what we wanted to convey in our designs was it slowly growing and stretching–post enchantment–which is reflected in the castle’s frost, topiaries, architecture and plaster moldings,”

                                Ballroom

                                Style: French Beaux-Arts

                                Year: 1880s

                                Movie: Cinderella (2015)

Significance: The production designer Dante Ferretti stated that he was inspired by French architecture namely the Lourve, Palais Garnier, and Versailles. In this particular scene; the ballroom scene, there is an obvious homage to Palais Garnier and it's Beaux-Art interior. Specifically the staircase there are many similarities, from its marble stairs to the filigree that decorates the staircase. It makes this scene feel as grandiose as it is, coupled with the earthy tone monochromatic theme really helps to make Cinderella stand out and seem ethereal in nature.
