    Use the reference video provided to create a blocking pass of a baseball pitch.

    Turn in 2 syncsketch videos:
    1) with stepped preview turned on (right click the timeline and enable stepped preview)
    2) with auto tangent

    In addition to your animation, write a short explanation of why each of the main poses are important!

    1. the first pose is a stance pose and with a rest to get ready to throw the ball.
    2. the second pose is the anticipation. To show that the pitcher is going to do something.
    3. the third pose is the second anticipation just with the left leg lifted up. To start the build up of the throw.
    4. the fourth pose is the final anticipation pose. Showing the pitcher is going to throw the ball.
    5. the fifth pose is building up the throw. If it didn't show then you wouldn't be able to show much strength in the throw.
    6. the sixth pose has some anticipation in the mid of the throw.
    7. the seventh pose is the actual throwing pose of the ball. To show the throw else it wouldn't look like the pitcher is throwing correctly.
    8. the eighth pose is the overshoot after the throw. To show that the pitcher is done throwing the ball.
    9. the ninth pose has a little bit of overshoot. So it can lead to a soft rest.
    10. the tenth pose is the resting/recovering pose after throwing the ball. So the pitcher doesn't just stick there in the throwing pose.

        Explination of poses:

        1)The first pose of the baseball throw is an idle position. The pitcher is resting and without it there would be no build up to the throw leaving viewers confused as to what happened.

        2) The second pose is the first part of anticipation. The pitcher starts to move indicating that something is about to happen. If this pose were missing the pitcher would immediately reel back his arm which is an awkward view and wouldn’t look right.

        3) The third pose is the second part of the anticipation. The pitchers leg lifts slightly into the air indicating to the viewer that he is about to pitch the ball. Without this frame present the pitch would happen instantly after the pitcher gets into position. This would cause a lack of anticipation.

        4) The fourth frame is the final frame of anticipation. The pitcher is fully reeled back and ready to throw the ball. If this frame wasn’t present the pitcher would go straight into the Pitching pose and because the final reel wasn’t present the entire throw would feel lack luster. This frame is needed to give the impression the pitch has the force it needs.

        5) The fifth pose is the actual pitch. At this point the pitcher is in the midst of throwing the ball. Without this pose it can be tricky for the viewer to understand how the pitcher jumped straight into the thrown position. All the build-up would cause the animation to feel like it was rushed through the pitch or that it happened too fast.

        6) The sixth frame is more anticipation. The pitcher is winding up his throw here. Much like the last frame without this frame in the scene it causes the scene to feel like the pitcher threw the ball too fast. It may also make it seem lack luster, almost as if the pitcher bailed on throwing the ball last second which is why it’s needed.

        7) The seventh frame is the thrown pose. In this position the pitcher has just pitched the ball. If this frame were not in the scene it would seem like the pitcher over shot his throw or forgot to throw the ball at all.

        8) The eight frame is some over shoot. In this position the pitcher is recovering from his throw. Without this position available it just feels like the force of the ball being thrown amounted to nothing and also leads to a very janky looking scene.

        9) The ninth frame is a bit of overshoot as well. In this position the pitcher is almost fully recovered from the throw but without this frame he enters a state where he is completely recovered which seems a bit too quick giving the force of the actual throw. This frame is essentially needed to make the throw feel a bit more natural.

        10) The tenth frame is the end idle frame. The pitcher has thrown the ball and fully recover. Without this frame the scene isn’t complete. It would not feel right to end on an overshoot.

          Each key frame is important because they all add to the major motion that is happening to the model. The overshoot, the idleness, and the anticipation. Without these motions the simple animation would be bland and not attention getting. It helps smoothen the animation to make it seem more realistic.

            In baseball each key pose is important to get the ball to be thrown in the most efficient way, start up, sees target, prepares the throw, throw, then recoil from the throw. Some people take a bit longer in the start up to either add tension to the hitter or to better aim to his target. In animation the key poses are important because they help show what the action being done is with the main poses that are needed to do the action.

              the AIN POSES ARE IMPOARTN BECAUSE IT HELPS SHOW WHAT THE PERSON IS DOING AND SHOWS THAT IT IS A BASEBALL PICTCHER AND NOT JUST SOME RANDOM KID THROWING THE BALL EACH POSES HAS A MEANING IN PLACE IN THE ANIAMTION TO THAT THE BALLIS BEING THROWN

                The main poses are important towards any project in animation for it is a time, ideal spacing and visual on what scene movements the characters and the environment will take through the scene itself. The first one allows one to visualize the set up and intro of the characters motionless body before spiraling into the action. The second pose gives anticipation as the rest follow the suit and flow how the character will move along it's personality and action as one.
