I experienced some uv corruption on my villain charachter in the transition from zbrush to maya. I worked for 2 days trying to fix it to no avail. I tried re-assigning uv maps in zbrush, I tried re-exporting maps from zbrush, I tried importing old uv'd objects into substance painter directly but was met with a uv related error, and as a last resort I tried re-uving the corrupted uvs from scratch but they weren't compatible with the maps I exported from substance painter. Eventually I had to give up and just texture over them in order to finish on time.

this is what happens when i try to add detail to corrupted areas, this is why there are areas of almost solid color on my villain character. the corrupted areas are the hair, hat, forearm, elbow, shoulder guard, eye, eyepatch, left shoe, and teeth.

Ran into a little problem with my models. For some reason the mouth on my models did not show up. I tried fixing it but it was taking to much time.
