AD405-01 Vray does not work

I don't know how, but Vray stopped working in maya and displays the error: //Warning: line 1: V-Ray: [SettingsTGA] No image writer specified.
It worked last week, but has since stopped today.

I opened Maya and and checked to see if V-Ray was loaded and it was not. i loaded it by going to Window>Settings/Preferences>Plug-in Manager with in Maya and checked the heading for V-Ray. made sure all check boxes were checked. should work now.
