  • Importing Illustrator Paths into Cinema 4D

Here are the simplified steps for importing Illustrator Paths into C4D.
    1. Create the path/spline in Illustrator.

    2. When saving it, save it as Illustrator 8.

    3. In your project in Cinema 4D, choose File > Merge and select the Illustrator file.

    4. Select the newly imported spline from the Objects panel and set the position of XYZ to 0 so that the spline is in the center for the view.
