Hello everyone!
Today’s assignment will be the first of our new online class system. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to let me know.
- For today, I want everyone to go to https://vimeo.com/396215757 and draw all the poses from the video to get back into the swing of things. The video starts at about 1:28.
- After the video drawings, I want everyone to go to https://quickposes.com/en/gestures/timed or https://line-of-action.com/ and choose two models to spend 30 minutes drawing each, so a full hour of work. Start thinking of different things to add into your drawings and make a list after of things that inspire you, we’ll soon be using the poses as a starting point to create themed or imaginative works.
PLEASE be sure to take breaks, we don’t want anyone getting carpal tunnel this late into the semester. These drawings can be done in your sketchbook or on your newsprint, in graphite or charcoal.

DRAWINGS ARE DUE BY WEDNESDAY MARCH 25 AT 6PM.
Please turn them in via email, this forum thread, or through the discord.
Late work will be graded with 10 points deducted from your score for every day that it is late.
Also, please inform me if you do not have either Netflix or Amazon Prime Video. I might be using either of those or YouTube to create a gesture assignment.
