club hand-outs

I always see these handouts for raves or events at clubs everywhere. I always see people who get to make them. How would i go about getting to do this as a little side job? should i contact club owners, pass out my own hand-outs advertising that i can make hand-outs, or make connections with important people? just wondering because i think idle hands are the devil's work and i want to keep busy.
