Textures Saving to Scenes folder

THis is a minor prob, but lately Maya for me has been saving an extra copy of my textures in my Scenes folder yep the sourceimage still remanes as the default path where all my textures go to.

any ideaS?

It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything.
