  • trashy sound in Maya playblasts

Has anyone else experienced distorted sound when they playblast lip-synch stuff? If so, does anyone know how to fix it?

PS, This is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.

It often has to do with the sound clip itself. If it uses a weird codec, or if the sound clips has a low digitized rate Maya will play it poorly. Where did you get your clip?

well it's done it with two different wav files I converted in Quicktime. The first was when I recorded my voice in the media center and the second was the January 10 Second Club sound clip. I took each one into Quicktime and exported them as aiffs so Maya would like them.

So it's probably the settings I have in Quicktime...
