  • Exporting Texture maps

    I'm getting this error:

"ERROR, Filename "C:\Documents and Settings\¥\Desktop\Fall Semester\3DI\segmentchar\images\wing.tif" contains invalid characters"

Is that because the map consists of 2 sections? Basically, does it have to be one interlocking section, instead of 2 that overlap but do not connect?

when are you getting this error? When you render or when you create a UV snapshot?

I'm sorry, I forgot to say when I'm trying to create a UVsnapshot.

Here's what the texture map looks like.

There seems to be a weird symbol after "Documents and Settings".....try hitting the Browse button and re-tracking where the snapshot should be saved and see if it cleans that up.

Yup, that did it. Change the path to a different directory and works fine. I'll just have to make sure to copy the images to the "image" folder in my project directory. Thanks for the help.
