PrintGlobe was founded in 1995 as Corporate Communications of Austin, and changed names in October of 2001 upon re-launching the firm as a web-based printing and graphic design portal. PrintGlobe has since established a position as a leader of the rapidly growing online printing segment and continually expands the boundaries of the traditional print shop product lines. Featured product lines sold by PrintGlobe include: Promotional Products (pens, coffee mugs, shirts, etc), Business printing products (checks, forms, brochures, etc.), Signage products (signs, banners, flags) and Graphic Design services (logo design, packaging, web design). PrintGlobe has built a customer base in all 50 states, including many Fortune 500 companies, educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and thousands of small-medium size companies across the country.
Internship Responsibilities
Candidate will assist our graphic design department by performing a wide variety of graphic production and design projects. This position will involve utilizing a wide array of software, computers and imaging systems.
Qualifications
Candidate should be a student or graduate of graphic design. Must be proficient in QuarkXPress, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Candidate must also be fluent in Mac OS. Candidate must be able to commit to a pre-arranged schedule every week, up to 20 hours per week.
Pay Rate
Non-Paid. Available for academic credit.
