  • How to use the area type tool

Hello, I've got an Illustrator question. How do you get type to fit within a certain area/object? Whenever I try to use the area type tool I get the message "You must click on a non-compound, non-masking path to create text inside a path."

    Gah, please help.

OOooo, I know this one, you have to click on the border of the shape that you have created. Lets say I make a circle, then I would click on the top edge or border of the circle. :D

    Example even!
