  • Forgive my Illustrator ignorance...

...But I'm curious as to how you would make a watermark logo for a business letterhead?

It's probably a simple matter, but as I have only been working with Illustrator a few months, I do not know how to go about this.

    Thanks in advance.

how i did it, was make a second layer (i love layers), and put your image that you want as a watermark on it. Then I click on the Transparency tab, this is located on the color window. It is right next to the Stroke tab. Make sure your image is selected, and you can adjust the Opacity slider to like 50% or whatever looks right to you. Thats how I did it, but I'm sure there is other things you can do. Like there is a box next to it that says Normal, and a bunch of other options like Multiply, but I haven't played with that yet :D This is a basic way to do it. Hope it helps.
