Job Purpose:
Prepares direct mail advertising by designing art and copy layouts.
Duties:
* Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
* Plans marketing concept by studying information and materials.
* Illustrates marketing concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
* Obtains approval of marketing concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
* Prepares finished copy and art by operating MaxOS9 & X.
* Completes projects by coordinating with outside sales assistants and agents.
* Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Reports to Art Director.
Skills/Qualifications:
Proficient in the following programs: InDesign, Photoshop, Quark, Illustrator, Mac OS9 & X
Creative Services, Client Focus, Graphic Design Skills, Layout Skills, Web Graphic Design, Deadline-Oriented, Market Knowledge, Web User Interface Design, Print Content Development, Web Multimedia Knowledge & Web Savvy
