The primary purpose of this position is to conceptualize, design, build, deploy and maintain large-scale, multi-page interactive websites, in an effort to facilitate corporate, executive and enterprise communications. The candidate must be proficient in web page design and architecture. The ability to work independently and drive project full-life-cycle is a critical success factor. The candidate will work collaboratively with various departments to continually improve the look, usability, and functionality of the corporate web sites. The candidate will be a proponent of new and emerging technologies and bring to the table innovative and creative thinking with a focus on the application of technology to constantly enhance and improve our communications impact and effectiveness. You will possess proven and demonstrated ability in the technical development of quality communication products by developing customer requirements, translating them into technical design then building, testing and implementing by using established methodologies and personal judgment
Candidate qualifications:
•3+ years experience with HTML, ASP.NET, VB.NET, ASP Classic JavaScript
•Strong preference for XMFireworks, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
•Proficiency in Dreamweaver, and other design-related applications with expert skills in design techniques such as web-page layout and image optimization.
•Solid understanding of information architecture and usability principles.
•Ability to work closely with other departments for collaborative creative process from conception to final production.
•A high level of self-motivation, innovation and creativity with the ability to work independently.
•Associates Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field is required.
