Junior Web Designer

This is a full-time temporary role projected to last 3 months with possibility of becoming a regular full-time role. Primary duties will include design maintenance of frogdesign.com, preparation of case studies, and general marketing tasks and updates. This will involve the creation of original design concepts and graphics, as well as marketing duties that apply to the site. This role is a support role to digital media design and technology groups. Skills needed include the ability to create code, image creation, an eye for detail, and good organization skills. Additional duties may include creative writing. As such, an ideal candidate would possess basic copywriting skills such that they could write, edit, and authenticate materials including case studies, PR pitches, presentations, templates, etc.
Essential Functional Duties
Include such activities as supporting the general needs of the design department and providing backup to the designers (creating screen layouts, color palettes, user interface elements, icons, and project documentation).
Qualifications
Working knowledge of basic desktop applications: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of Web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, Flash, and CSS.
Additional design experience with other firms, co-ops, or freelance work prior to frog.
Proven creative writing skills.
