comments on new site design idea.

i like the basic idea...don't know how well it works on everyone's computer though...i have one that it is pretty processor intensive on.

    or is this one better

on the first one i especially like the links to the different characters...but i think the bouncy text tends to slow things down

I personally like the first one (http://www.jennybarton.com/2index.htm) rather than the second one. I like the feel it has to it and the way you have the options on which view they want to see your stuff at. I like the idea of the bouncing text but to me its rather distractive. I can't seem to take my eyes away from it until it stops. I love the links to the different characters but I always seemed to get two links moving at the same time but thats probably just my fault. I like it though-nice and clean, uncluttered. Theres my 2 cents.

both are good...I think it depends on who your target is as to which one to use...The original one (2nd link) has easier navigation...but the 2nd site (1st link) is a lot more fun

i thought that the http://www.jennybarton.com one was a little hard to add new characters to, and it was pretty static.

i thought that the http://www.jennybarton.com/2index.htm one was more fun and not as boring...i agree that the bouncing text might be going a bit overboard though =)

          Hey Jenny,

Just now noticed your post. I like the first one too and I would have to agree with tiffanyann about the animated text. It's good without it.

I think it's great you have your stuff online. I've been going through so many problems trying to get mine back up.

I heard you and your fiance or husband are starting your own computer business? Is that right?

My domain name had to be renewed and I'm in the process of transferring it over to GoDaddy.com. Waiting on the approval. Then, once that is done I'm going to sign up with SiteFlip.com to host it. I'm fed up with Yahoo.

I'm glad to here your business is up and running! Good job. For me, I'd be too timid to start my own business.
