Web Designer
Responsibilities:
This individual will be responsible for the art direction and production of email and Web site designs for Convio clients.
• Manage the full project cycle of large scale Web site design initiatives
• Develop email newsletter and stationery designs, templates and style sheets
• Design creative components for online fundraising, communications and advocacy campaigns
• Enhance and maintain Convio’s design portfolio
• Evolve Convio’s design offerings and bundles
• Pitch design services to prospective clients
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of Web and email design experience
• Strong proficiency with Photoshop and other comparable graphics editing programs
• Strong understanding of core web development concepts (HTML, CSS, XML)
• Experience in Flash Development animation, scripting and testing
• Strong grasp of User Interface design conventions and Information Architecture best practices
• Strong communication skills (oral & written) and ability to articulate and defend design concepts
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize across multiple projects
• Flexible, team oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality
Bonus:
• Print graphic design experience
• Experience designing nonprofit Web sites, micro-campaign sections and email communications
