Description:
Neversoft, the "Tony Hawk" guys, are doing something different!
This is a rare opportunity to be on the ground floor of a new video game
title. Big adventure, big story, major action, reality based new world players, mature rating, adult themes, with a **** load of killing thrown
in for good measure.
The concept for this game was the impetus to double the size of
Neversoft...we knew we could make a killer game out of the concept so we
just had to do it. After 10 successful years it's time for something
new. Killer positions available on both teams!
So.Want to make kick *** games? See your game on the shelf every year?
Start a new franchise? Work with talented, intelligent, creative, fun
and enthusiastic people? Have focused work weeks and week ends off? Job
stability in a development culture? Neversoft maybe the place for you.
Neversoft is looking for Level Designers for both of its teams now. Team Tony Hawk will continue to work on the Tony Hawk franchise. This position consists of creating memorable story lines, characters to boot and levels that are fun to skate and filled with a variety of savory characters and even some unsavory ones. It's not easy to reinvent this game every year. Bring us your fresh ideas. We have 4 openings in our Design department. If this interests you and you meet the criteria below we want to hear from you.
Candidates should be fluent with 3d graphics tools (particularly 3ds Max) and have experience at laying out level geometry and working with level layout tools. Should also have some experience with scripting languages to control characters, objects, and/or create interactive environments. Responsibility includes working with one or many level artists to find and accumulate reference material upon which to base development of a level. From there, level must be designed, prototyped, built and scripted, optimized, and brought to full fruition, all the while working with the level artist responsible for the graphic look of the level.
