    RT3D-Environment Artist

    B-Alive founded by the creators of „Wildlife Park“ and „Wild Creatures“ (www.wildlife-park.com) is seeking
    for experienced and inspired 3D-Artists, keen on developing a high quality building-up-strategy-game
    with a sophisticated lifesimulation and almost realistic graphical touch.
    We are a small company having our office in the south of germany (40 min to the lake of constance).
    The offered position is full-time (no freelancers please), applicants have to relocate.
    Fluent german and eu-membership is required.

    qualifications:
    • excellent drawing skills (traditional and digital)
    • excellent knowledge of 2D/3D-artist software
    such as 3DSMAX, MAYA and Photoshop
    • excellent 3D modelling (low/high poly) and texturing skills
    • preferable knowledge of modern Real-time-3D-Technology
    (e.g. Shaders, Alpha-, Lightning-, Bump- and Normalmaps, etc.)
    • at least one international shipped title (preferable based on RT3D)
    • excellent team player with strong communications skills
    • eager to develop games
    • preferably have at least 2 to 3 years experience working in games
    • willing to work closely with a small group of people and extern freelancers

    advantageous:
    • experience in working with middleware-solutions such like „renderware“ or
    „netimmerse/gamebryo“
    • basic knowledge within scripting and programming
    • knowledge and experience wihtin development on other plattforms
    e.g. xbox, playstation, or the like
    • building-up-strategy-, empire building -, tycoon - and lifesim-fan

    work:
    • creating models and texture maps for architectural structures and facilities (e.g. Buildings),
    natural environments (e.g. Groundtextures,walkways, etc.) and items
    • animating of some of these objects
    • briefing and controlling of extern Artists and Freelancers
    • managing graphic assets
