    Smoothe are looking for designers for their UK studio in Manchester

    We are looking for creative 3D artists with a natural flair for design to join our Manchester studio on a full-time basis. You should be fluent in 3D Studio MAX and Photoshop, and have a minimum of 1-2 years experience producing high quality still images and animations. Skills in related software such as VRay, Combustion, AutoCAD, Premiere, After Effects, Flash and Director may also be helpful although not essential.

    There are a couple of 3D jobs in europe and here they are:

    a student looking to pay an experienced Maya Game Artist £20 an hour for lessons on modelling environments or characters for game platforms. I'm familiar with Maya - but looking to learn up-to-date workflows. No preparation would be needed on your part - simply a demonstration of your daily technique.         Job Descriptions

        Experienced Character Animators – Christchurch, New Zealand:
        Various full-time contract positions beginning Oct 2004 – Jan 2005. 4-6 month contracts. Character Animators will need to have a broad range of skills in production and minimum 3 years industry experience. Must be diligent team players, have an eye for detail while meeting deadlines. Animators with strong modeling, texturing and character animation skills and traditional art backgrounds are invited to apply.
        Experience with XSI and/or Lightwave preferred.

        Assistant Animators – Christchurch, New Zealand:
        Various full-time contract positions beginning Oct 2004 – Jan 2005. 4-6 month contracts. Industry experience preferred. Must be diligent, fast learners and have an eye for detail while meeting deadlines. Must be capable of working in a team environment and have a flare for character animation.
        Experience with XSI and/or Lightwave preferred.

        Compositor – Christchurch, New Zealand:
        Full-time contract position for 4-6 month contracts. A solid understanding of the broadcast production pipeline and industry experience is required. This position will be dealing primarily Multi-pass digital renders (XSI, Lightwave and Max) for working into 3D scenes and/or live action footage.

        Lighting/Rendering/Setup – Christchurch, New Zealand:
        Full-time contract position available for 4-6 month contracts. Expertise in all areas of the pipeline is required. The position will look after lighting and setting up Multi-pass renders suitable for compositing into 3D and/or live action footage. Although this person must work well in a team, they will be required to self-manage their workload.

        New Zealand/Australian citizens/PRs would be helpful.
