I found a way that you can select certain faces in certain view ports and nothing behind it without having weird faces being selected or anything like that, in the command bar at the bottom, select the object you want to work this way on, then put in toggleSurfaceBackfaceCulling();. Also this only works on the objects you select to place the command on, and to make it stop, just retype the command again
