  • how do i repeat an object on a curve

    im trying to create a hanging wooden bridge
    i thought i could make 1 plank and a curve and duplicate it somehow
    any help

      maybe go into edit nurbs> rebuild surface option. the options give you different ways to duplicate. hope that helps

          Even easier:
          1. Create Path (CV Curve is fine)
          2. Create object to duplicate along path
          3. Snap object to path start (move object close to path, then hold C to snap to curve)
          4. Select the Path, and then Shift-select the object
          5. Choose Animation-Animate>Motion Paths>Attach to Motion Paths
          6. This will make the object animate along the motion path for the duration of your timeslider
          7. Select Animation-Animate>Create Animation Snapshots (Option)
          8. Choose the starting and ending times, and the increments (how many frames between snapshots of an object)
          9. Hit Snapshot and the Object is duplicated along the curve



          No plugins or Mel scripts required.
