  • Trim Tool Info.

Hello. This past week Watkins had lectured on how to use the Trim tool however I am having the same problems in class that he was having.

I selected the object and then the trim tool and then when I tried to go back to that object I couldnt do anything to it. I tried resetting the options to see if that would help but it hasnt.

Watkins, or anyone, could you help me figure out what is going on?

    Thanks

Sorry to be so long answering this; didn't see it. You might want to try and post this sort of thing in the Maya forum instead.

It turned out that instead of using the Trim tool, we used the Detach Surfaces tool. Just select the two Isoparms you want to use to cut and select Modeling-Edit NURBS>Detach Surface.
