  • Anyone familiar with tone mapping?

I've been playing around with it Photomatix Pro. I believe there is a plug in in Photoshop, but I'm not sure if I have it or how it works.

Just curious if any of you know.

I'm fairly familiar with it... what do you want to know?

      1. When taking pictures, do you use a 3 bracket exposure? Correctly exposing the highlights, midtones, and shadows?

      2. When having a basic picture, what is the process you go through to correct the photo?

I've just been doing an HDR mapping and playing with the various levels. I'm not sure of the correct exposure metering I should be looking for.
