  • WW I Poster Exhibit

The Central library has a show of original lithographic posters from WW I on exhibit and all of you should get down there to see them. Originals of some of the most famous examples from this era are there and are in perfect condition including the famous "Uncle Sam wants you" poster.

These have not been exhibited or shown in public since 1933. From here this exhibit will travel around the country so check them out before the end of the month. Amazing hand drawn type and just plain amazing drawing!

Looking at things like this make me realize how much better I NEED to get.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy,
it does not boast, it is not proud.

It is not rude, it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
