casting shadow to certain objects?

Is there any way I can cast shadows on selected objects? This compositing is getting complicated with the many shadows of the original picture.

Not sure exactly what you're asking here, but some things to remember about shadows:

• Remember that to turn off an objects shadow casting abitlity, select it and in the Attribute Editor in the Render Stats section turn off "Cast Shadows"
• Some objects in your scene may also need to not recieve shadows. In that case, in the Render Stats area, turn off Receive Shadows

But it could be that neither of those things help and that you already knew that. Tell me a little bit more about what problems you're having.....
