  • taking a UV snapshot...getting all black

I have my UV thing in the UV texture editor, and I select the faces and go to take a UV snap shot, and when I do, it let's me and saves the image, except the image is all black and I can't see the polys on it that I am supposed to paint on. Help por favor.

Ok, I found out you have to put the UV thing in that square area in order for the area to show up in the image. but my uv thing is longer than the square area. any way to make the square area larger?

also, do we have to uv texture before we rig, or can we do it after we rig? gracias.

nevermind, i figured it out. what i did, was just scaled down the size of my UV thing to fit inside the square.
