I know from intro that it is possible to design your entire web page in a photoshop or illustrator, but does the same hold true for a brochure? I am making a brochure/certificate for a company that my old boss works for and I wanted to know if I could lay it out in one of the adobes(seeing as how I am a little more used to them) or would I have to use a Quark or Indesign type pragram. Or, even better, could I lay it out in the adobes and then move it to a one of the page layout programs? Just wondering.......I would be greatful to anyone with any advice.......Have a good weekend guys

Denny can probably address this best but.....here's my $.02
You can do almost anything with whatever you've got. However, some programs do actually handle some jobs better than others.
If you are doing something like a tri-fold brochure, Illustrator or Photoshop would work great. I prefer to work with Type in Illustrator, but other might have other preferences.
if you are doing a multi-page layout, InDesign or Quark are definitely preferable and much more powerful for thos kinds of things.
BTW, InDesign is made by Adobe; so you really don't want to call Photoshop and Illustrator "the adobes"......
